One very unexpected 3P shooter there! They appear to have just finished the prone stage now. Roll on standing.

Will be great to see the system in full flight tomorrow.

Standing results were solid for Sean Baldwin, his kneeling sighters were excellent, so let's see how he gets on there.

    Results:

    1. Sean Baldwin - DFST - 555
    2. Daniel Fleming - WTSC - 515
    3. Kealan Symes - RRPC - 374

The new live scores facility makes transmission of information like this extraordinarily easy.

Well, as I was going to be there for the duration, I just felt I might as well give it a go.

Prone went well and then it was all painfully downhill from there. Pain being the operative word. :D

No trousers, no rest, no boots and never done it before.

Kneeling was the most painful experience ever

Kneeling sucks. My hold is okay, but getting the mental resolve to struggle through it is... tough. Sean's second card was lovely though.

Sean had a petty good match, he thinks he's fixated on 555; it being the MQS for CISM I think.

Some of the blood is now returning to my right leg and I can now stand for five minutes without falling over :)

Yeah, fairly solid altogether. One seven and nothing else lower than an 8, and more 9's than 8's. With any luck I'll have nailed down the prone and will be doing 3P for next year.

By all means, it a bit of fun. The 3 x 20 format is very user friendly with no more than an hour and a half all in.

I'm glad I gave it a go. Without the right gear it's very difficult, but I won the prone and have a nice bronze medal to show for the days work ;)

    Kneeling's a ton of fun :D
You just need to watch six hours of TV while in position RRPC, that's all :D
Should I still bring the 3G broadband dongle thingamajig for tomorrow or did you get it sorted some other way?

I think watching six hours of TV might be more painful ;)

Yeah, Mike has a 3 dongle and we borrowed it off him for a small consideration. It did well enough today.

1hr 15m of bipolar disorder proved to be just as painful!

Congrats to Richard Stapleton Jr (WTSC) for taking the gold today, Ray Reilly (RRPC) for taking silver and Sandy Wilson (ECSC?) for taking bronze.

Has a date been set for the 50m Prone/3p championships? I can't see them on the calendar?
    Thanks

Negotiations are ongoing as to venue, but it will probably be on the 21st of June in either Comber or Midlands. I'll put it up when we have a venue and date confirmed.

As to 3P, we plan on running a match later in the summer for that.
