I, going to do it myself wont have a probel there but im looking for advice on regulations on what is legeal when im doing this and what isnt and so.

Also it is a Northern registerd car that is been sold privatly and i would like to change her over as a commercial vehicle what do i need to do, to do this.

any advice would be great. also if anyone is selling an eye-catching focus van of golf van diesel please let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

To register & convert a car (3-door) into a van for our beloved VRT officers , the following conditions must be met:

    No backseat
A metal sheet must be WELDED into the rear of the car for a loading bay. The weld must be visible for inspection.
The rear side glass be replaced with a metal panel

Then you pay €50 vrt and tax it commercially.

50 euro vrt only applies to commercials ,technically car vans are classified as "car derived vans" and the vrt is 13.5% of what THEY think the vehicle is worth... guess its just a way to make more money at the end of the day ....
