    Hi,

I have a quick query I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with.

I recently installed an electric shower but during the plumbing side of things I mistakingly took the water feed from the wrong side of the cold water tank, ie near the ballcock. I've read this can allow bubbles to enter and damage the shower unit.

I now want to reposition the tank connector to the other side to rectify this.

My question is, what should I use to block the existing tank connector hole up with?

    Thanks

    Hi Paul007,

If you drain the tank, cut the pipe about 2/3 inches from the tank and then blank the pipe, that should do the job. Otherwise you can blank the tank connector its self with a blank cap.

I always blank the pipe, faster and easier!

    Hope this helps...
