    I'm a heineken man myself.

I don't dare buy Bulmers anymore because I always just end up spending all of my money on about four or five bottles. :pac:

Finally, a sensible question in Ah.

Now, Bulmers, yes, at the start of a night, but I switch to eitehr becks or Jever (local German beer) at the midway point and finish off with a cocktail (I like sweets things) and maybe a shot or two followed by a kebab.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I'm a bulmers fellow myself, sometimes followed by double vodka and blackcurrant and maybe shots, but that's on a 'mad' night out.
Usually i stick to the pints

I started off on Bass, many years ago, went onto heineken, then carlsburg, then bulmers for a good few years.

The local pubs in my town sell cans, its cheaper then the pint bottles, but the publicans are making a killing from it at the same time.

I've lately moved from Smithwicks to Guinness. Its stout all the way now. yummy!

    Heineken

    or

    Guinness in certain pubs

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,750 ✭✭✭liah

Vodka and finches/mi wadi. It's cheap and I stay on it pretty much the whole night.

A while ago I was on Guinness for pubs, then once I hit clubs it was a flurry of Kryptonite, Jaegerbombs and Captain'n'Coke.. I've since stopped that though, for the most part.

Used to be Schultheiss. 'Kugel' not 'Tulpe', lol. But due to circumstances it's got to be Guinness now. Sometimes Newcastle Brown Ale (not very common tho). Sometimes Whiskey & Coke, sometimes Wodka & something.

    Pint of Bud normally.

Wouldn't you know, the first bottle I have in months (bar we were at was a bottle only bar) was last Sat night and the first round in the club. I take my third sip from the bottle, while my mates around me were messing.

Low and behold, one of them manages to elbow the end of my bottle, while i'm drinking. Drives it up into my mouth. Chipped both my front teeth!

    Round of 4 bottles: €22
Cost to cap two front teeth: €240
Standing there pissing your pants at your poor mate who now has teeth sharper than Jaws: Priceless

    Edit: I still scored. :)

Smithwicks usually, or if they dont have it I'd go for Miller. Thats if I'm drinking beer. Otherwise its either JD/Wild Turkey/Morgans Spiced and coke. I've stopped the double vodka red bulls as they generally tend to get me to the point of being arrested

    Start on a Guinness to see if it's any good in there. If so;

    Guinness,
    Guinness,
Guinness & pack of cheese & onion Tatyo's or Kings,
    Guinness,
    Guinness,
    Guinness,
If in the local, shot of green chartruese to finish.

If the Guinness isn't good, I'll either go for a wiessbier depending on what they have, or it that's sh*te too, I'll likely head somewhere else or home. If I have good reason to stay, I'll see what drink promo's are running. That usually means I'm desperate.

I know. Scandalous. Are other clubs the same with bottles/pints? Sadly i'm one who normally just hands over money, gets beer and change back, and rarely assesses the damage!!
