Playing a small show tomorrow and have to play on a keyboard rather than my usual piano.... does a keyboard need a different type of amp or can it hook into any?
Sorry I'm a bit clueless...i know specific keyboard ones exist but not if they're really necessary.

    Thanks

    Nicola

I'm pretty sure you can use a bass amp. I don't think you should use guitar amps, they're not suited to the frequencies of the low notes on a keyboard like a bass amp is.

Where's the gig? I'd imagine you'd be able to just DI straight into the PA if there is one.

I've always used a bass amp too.
