    Hi,

I had a look around for treads on going out in Japan and didn't find much, only the areas. So just want to ask people what bars/clubs they recommend in these citys.

The place i'm interested in are bar/clubs that have a rock feel to them. I'm personally interested in rock/ska, that sort of place but feel free to mention any type.

if you know of any places could you mention if theres a local crowd or expat.

    Cheers
    Brian

Have look over at the forums on www.gaijinpost.com

Roppongi seems to be the recommended place in Tokyo at least.

In Tokyo there are a number of areas that have bars etc

Reppongi is one and mainly attracts foreigners and tourists.

Places like Shinjuku are mostly frequented by Japanese, trher are many others but I can’t remember their names now

You will find Shinjuku is cheaper for going out in than Reppongi

Hiroshima is full of bars, it’s a much smaller city than Tokyo so most places are close enough to each other, can’t remember any places off hand but it is good.
