I just bought a second hand c4 and it came with a nokia phone kit and cradle installed.
I was wondering is it possible to buy something to replace just the cradle to make it bluetooth so i can use my current phone.
Dont really want the hassle of having to replace the wires already in situ for the mick and radio connections.
    Thanks in advance

Depends on the type of car kit, is it definitely a bluetooth kit? If so it's probably a Nokia CK-7W kit, google the pairing procedure for this kit and see if it works with your phone (it should pair up no problem whether it works or not properly depends on the phone)

If it's one of the older Nokia Kits with a cradle only, your only option is to either buy a phone that fits in the holder/cradle or replace the kit with a proper BT one.

Does it have the silver Nokia button for answering calls anywhere in the car? If so, it should be a CK-7W Bluetooth kit. Search for new paired devices on your phone and that should come up. Password to pair is 0000.

If you don't have the button it's an older, non Bluetooth kit. It may be possible to replace the cradle, if they make one for your phone - a lot of the new Nokia phones don't have the "pop port" on the bottom.

If your phone is not a Nokia then the Nokia Bluetooth kit won't work properly with it. You'd be better off removing that and fitting a Parrot Kit.

The cradle in my car didn't fit my phone, and the Bluetooth is tempramental, so I aquired a Nokia passive cradle which just screwed on to the braket which is already there. The lead that goes in to the bottom of the old cradle conencts straight in to the bottom of my phone. When I get in I just plug the lead in to my phone, sit it in the cradle and away I go.
