Just reading about him there in the SI 2010 mock draft (wayyyyy early i know) but they have him tipped as one of if not the top QB in next years class.

CBSSportsline go so far as to rate him as the number 1 QB available in next years draft.

Just surprising as I didn't hear his name that often last season.

Is he the real deal?

Didn't see that coming but he is quality. Started his career with longhorns but McCoy coming into his prime Snead transferred to the Ole Miss and sat out the 2007 season. Decent stats last year for his full first starting year 2400 odd yards 23 TDs 12 Ints and took the Rebels to their first bowl in 6 years. If you can find online check out his first game for the Longhorns against Kansas he stepped in for an Injured McCoy and took the longhorns from 3 tds down to within 3 points unlucky not to win that game awesome game.

Most people agree that he will be the second QB to go with Bradford first. Clearly its very early and you just don't know how things are going to work over the coming months but there are an awful lot of people that like him and he might end up being in contention for the top spot around this time next year. I love the mock draft that one of them done, having the raiders at two I think and taking another big reach.

Why would the Packers trade up for the #1 pick overall?
