Hi folks. I am going on holidays in a couple of weeks. I'm flying from Heathrow with BA and am flying from Dublin to Heathrow with Aer Lingus. I booked the flights together on BA's site so they should be partnered together OK.

My question is: Can we use the BA online check in from Dublin? It says that you just check in, print your boarding passes and drop off your bags. I have used the automatic kiosks with AL before but have not done this online checkin with another carrier before.

    Thanks for the info folks

As far as I know, you can...but you will still have to queue to drop your bags at the Aer Lingus bag drop in Dublin Airport.

My experience from a few BA flights recently...

You cannot checkin on-line for the DUB-LHR as its a BA code share. Its a real pain. You can checkin using ba.com for the LHR - outbound flight, but will have to use an Aer Lingus self-service kiosk in Dublin for the DUB-LHR

Thanks. That's what I assumed it would be. Still, better than nothing I suppose.
