Can someone walk into a bank and ask to withdraw say 10 euros in coins?

Would it be regarded as cheeky, or a bit annoying?

€10 in coins isnt that bad with €1 and €2 coins. Its not that your asking for €100.

Of course you can, it's your money and they're lucky to have you as a customer. Ask for €1,000 in 1c coins if you like.

They will provide you with whatever you want if they have it available. If however they consider it a commercial transaction due to the amount you are looking for, they will probably charge you standard commercial rates (dont know what these are though)

My mate once got £10 in coppers from the bank to pay a small fine in school... Even ended up getting to keep the fine.

They won't give it to you though as no bank holds €1000 euro in 1c coins on the premises, you can order it and it would costyou.
    bad advice.

Some AIB branches have porters with trolleys to bring bags of change out to your car for you :D
