    Situation:

Have standard box room 1 have sky + box in room 2. Top package + Sports exc setanta sports.

If i aquire additional sky + box from another source to replace the standard box in room1 do i have to pay additional sky + rental or do i just ask sky for a new card and continue paying existing multiroom rate with + . ?

    All input appreciated cheers guys.

No extra cost I believe just get the card enabled for Sky+

Your subscription rate will remain exactly the same, you simply need to put the card into the sky+ box and ring sky to pair the card to the box. However you will need to get an additional cable ran from the dish to the 1st room where you now want to add the sky+ box to in order to watch one channel and record another.

Also are you sure the sky + you want to add is in good order...

Cheers guys. I thought that was the case.

Now to find a decent box!

Yeah cabling should be a doddle. Had to re-run the previous install as i was a rush job on the installers part. They ran the two cables right through my New PVC Windows. Looked ridiculous outside and inside.

Went back and put it through the wall myself and reseal my new vents in the frame :o
