Hi, just wondering if anyone on this site knows if Barry andrews bill on spent convictions has become law yet? All I can find on the internet is old stuff about it going to its second stage? how long does it take usually to pass a law?

It's not law yet and I wouldn't hold your breath any time soon either I'm afraid.

Sorry to resurrect a thread but I also am very interested in this.
From what I see on the web it was all going well and looked like it would be passed then it just seems to have disappeared.
Does anyone have any idea what happened?

Well the Dail closes down for the summer soon, so no change of anything before then.

Your best bet is this time next year.
