Advice buying kick drum head

    Hi just need a little advice. i burst my bass drum head tonight. First one to go on me. I recently changed my tom heads i bought evans ec2's as the ones i were using had gone green with mould. Any one have any advice on buying a new one or how get a head thats complementry to the ec2's. I am playing rock and enjoy stamping on my peadals.

    The closest are the emad bass heads that have external dampening that you can change. Theres nothing wrong with sticking a standard 2 ply head on either though.

    Ditto on the EMAD. Or try an EQ3. Both Evans.

    you did indeed. right choice no point in spending the extra quids for what its used for. sounds good
