Been playing guitar for 6 years, obsessed with gear and abusing guitars, 19 years old, drive me own car, go to college in UCC but am in Limerick almost every weekend and for summer.

    love to play:
blues(clapton, peter green, joe bonamassa, hendrix style)

metal(arch enemy, pantera, megadeth, mastadon, melodic metally style, bit of atreyu/avenged sevenfold too but don't tell anyone!)

classicy rock(led zepellin, pearl jam, pink floyd,)

grungy(soundgarden, rage against the machine, audioslave, silverchair old and new, alice in chains, pearl jam in here too i guess)

There's tonnes more they're the only ones I can think off at the moment, into anything really except this wave of 'the' bands, punk type stuff(blink 182,old punk too) and most of the crap you'd hear on the radio these days.

Been messing with bass for the last few years, recently started learning it as a different instrument instead of just a four stringed guitar! Have a couple of basses and an ok 90w amp.

Been messing with drums on and off for a few years too, wouldn't be anything special really. Have a crap electric drum kit, not really giggable.

    cheers!

Would you be interested in playing music in the vein of Katatonia, Anathema, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride etc?

    I'm based in Cork btw.

Are you the same guy as the original poster?!?!?

    Anyway the demo is cool!

I''ve been recording stuff on and off for the last 2 years or so but I finally somewhat decided on a direction to take. It'll be a fair bit slower than your demo, probably a mix of Katatonia's Last Fair Deal Gone Down, Discouraged Ones, Anathema's Judgement, A Fine Day to Exit and My Dying Bride's The Dreadful Hours and With Lies I Sire.

I want to try and keep things fairly melodic sounding but not at the usual slow temp[o that Doom is usually set to, hence the big smaterings of Katatonia and Anathema.

I'm going to be working on the originals during the summer so hopefully i'll come out with 3 or 4 strong tracks by August.
