    Hello,

I wonder does anyone know a good florist in Cavan/Meath for wedding flowers on a budget?

    Thanks :)

Have you considered doing it yourself or getting someone you know with a good eye for that kind of thing to do it. Just go to Smithfield market 1 or 2 days before the wedding and spend about €200/300 on flowers and get a group together the evening before the big day to help out and decorate the church to your liking. That's what we did for our wedding and it turned out great.

You should ask your priest for the sacristans number, I did that and have a quote now for €360 from our sacristan - she said it might be less because she will be buying Irish flowers, and they were prices for the Dutch imports.

Otherwise there is Frances Clerkin in Navan, she does it as a hobby and is very reasonable, but unfortunately not available for our wedding. I can PM you her number tomorrow if you like - forgot my phone today!

    Hello,

If you could PM Frances' number to me that would be great thanks!!

I did think about doing them myself, and even bought some flowers and florists wire to try it, but it didnt work out so well I'm afraid :(

    Thanks!

Its not that hard to do it yourself. I did it myself. Went to M&S bought the flowers only about 80 euro. Made up all the bouguets and pins and decorated church also. This was 4 years ago so flowers might be more expensive now, but prob not that much more. Good luck with it.
