Has anyone bought / used this "hybrid scoring club" in the words of cleveland?

Interested if it may be more reliable than my wedge for chipping around the green....

I got it in the search for something diferent aound the green as i was using the lob wedge all the time. It worked ok for a while but dont use it anymore to be honest as your 9 iron will get the ball rolling just as well. As your game improves the club just has no benifit in the bag.Wouldnt really recomend it as if i had my time back would spend the money on a short game lesson instead. Bit of a gimmick to sum it up imo.

About a month ago i won an Odyssey Marxman X-Act as a society prize and its basically a club to use from in and around the green for them bump and run shots. I always used to use my lob wedge from these situations and for the most part it worked well for me but there was always the odd shot that i might thin across the green or lift my head on and barely hit. It is in these situations that the Marxman comes into its own because the sole is so wide that you cant thin it or catch it half hearted and the fact that you swing it similar to a putter it is pretty consistant. So if you sometimes struggle with your short game then this could be a club to consider. Also the grip on it is the nicest of any club ive ever had.
