Just got a letter today from Revenue telling me they will be sending out a cheque for €1956 for my VRT appeal. I sent in the appeal last November so have been waiting a while but well worth the effort :D

The best thing is that in my letter to them I told that that i believed I was entitled to a refund of about €1000 based on market price at that time.

So if anyone else out there is thinking of appealing definitely go for it.

Well done. If you don't mind me asking what was the original VRT figure?
