Best Wii games

Hi,

I have had a Wii for a few months - only play it when I have mates over. I have super mario kart.

Can anyone recommend a game that both guys and girls can have a bit of craic playing ie no soccer games

Was thinking of Wii Play but told it is very short.

I have Wii Sports and it would be great but the tennis only lasts a few games. Any good tennis games?

The new grand slam tennis - even without the wii motion plus, its still a savage game. there is even a party section in it as well, and the variety of games is excellent

If you haven't encountered Okami, get it on the Wii. Only single player, yes, but it's extremely good.

Mario Kart Wii is lots of fun with multiplayer. Fun courses and overall great fun.

Wii sports is great fun too, especially boxing.

Super Smash Bros is good fun too. Can play up to 4 people. Good all round fun and has a huge selection of arenas and characters to choose from. Four players really adds to some crazy multiplayer action.

Rayman: Raving Rabbits has a party mode in it. I've not played it with anyone yet but I believe it's supposed to be a lot of fun.

Wii Play and More Wii Play are ok too but I felt that the response of the Wii controller was lacking for me without the motion plus sensor in some games.

And finally Mario Party is good fun too. I've not played a lot of it but I liked what I played.

Definitely Okami for single player. For multiplayer Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii sports resort (haven't played it myself but I'm sure it's like Wii sports but more) , Wii play is fun too. Yes it is short but it's still great fun, especially Tanks.

Can anyone recommend a soccer game in which the classic controls can be used? I hate the flicking motion to pass and shoot.

Call of Duty 3 was excellent and will wait till WaW price comes down a bit but vehicles can be tricky to manouevre.

PES 2010 is out soon and it has the classic controller option.

Pro Evo 2009 has a classic control option as well.

PES works much better on the Wii with the pointer controls, your missing out on a much better game than on the 360 and PS3 if you use a classic controller.
