Can anyone advise me if a car has gone through an Opel Network Q test am I supposed to receive a certificate to show the checks the car went through?

I don't see any mention of it on www.networkq.ie but if you don't get one then whats the point?

Yes I checked the network Q site already.

The point is I have had an 05 astra 3 weeks, the rear lamp has condensation, the brakes are making a strange noise when the car is stationary and I had an Engine Electronics failure yesterday ( albeit brief, but still). So the point being I want to know exactly what was supposed to have been checked. Maybe they are minor concerns to experienced but all the same they are concerns to me and therefore I am looking into it.

You should go back to the dealer anyhow.
What kind of noise are the brakes making as they shouldn't really make noise!

    Well, its hard to describe.

No noise when the car is moving, but when stationary and you pump the brakes a few times you get what sounds like minor grinding but then on another occasion it sounds like air building up and the brake becomes tense if you get me..

Just bring it back and insist on getting any issues resolved!

I always assumed the whole network Q thing was more a marketing thing than any meaningful test. I would say the cars get a reasonable service before being sold which should have some checks. You should get the service checklist I guess though.
