Yeah that's what I found most funny! But sure yeah I don't blame them either. They've been spoonfed fear since they were only babbies. If that happened here in similar circumstances the reactions would be nothing short of hillarious.

Have to disagree there. We've been exposed to fear I suppose you could say but in no way near the same way Americans have been. Our fears aren't constantly played upon or manipulated when you think about it.

the mayors office was informed, it wasnt passed on from there. security evacuated buildings in some cases. i'd probably have thought something bad was gonna happen too. btw it was for a photoshoot! have the ever heard of photoshop? it's all about controlling the population imo..

That's the funnest thing I've seen in ages.

Also, I've just remembered this it was 05/06 when I was living in Limerick and I was getting up at 6am to go to the gym. I was walking with my mp3 player on but I could hear a noise and fairly soon after that I couldn't hear anything, even the one car driving by stopped and was looking around. Then I saw the plane that was causing the noise it was a plane on the way to Shannon and it was so close that I could see all the windows. My thought was 'crap, that's not going end up in a field or houses if it keeps going that way' and kept walking. The pilot copped on that he was too low and started flying a bit higher. It was a bit of a different reaction, the guy in the car stopped to have a look and I kept walking while looking I think another car just drove by.

Though it appears that the 747 made a course correction after the crowd started to run. For all we can tell from the video it may have been directed straight at their position there. It does appear like its performing a hard left in the video.
