Solo Trip - 3 Weeks or so

Thinking of heading off solo for a few weeks. Looking to do it fairly cheaply (so hostel accommodation rather than 5*). Am flexible about destination etc so was wondering if anyone has done something similar and could give a cool recommendation? Have been around Europe a bit so would probably steer clear but pretty much…

In summer '07 I went overlanding with Absolute Africa. They do quite a few short (2-4 week) trips and with the exchange rate very much in our favour it works out very reasonably. Because you're in a truck with up to 30 other people it really doesn't matter if you're on your own and it takes the hassle out of doing most of the organising. I had an amazing trip and would do it all over again in a flash if I had the chance.
