heeeeelp im lost - R4 or R4i or R4i-sdhc

    im loking to get a NDSL for my father for the brain training games

    however im lost as to the difference in these three cards

    can someone please tell me which i should be going for ?

    if i understand correctly we plug one of the above into the NDSL and in turn plug a mirco sd memory card into one of the R4 cards - is this correct ? so bascially i need to buy
    - ndsl card
    - r4 card
    - sd memory card

    any help appreciated !!!

    Nope, you don't need the R4 or sd memory card, these are required to put your own files on to use on the DS. So you put the files on the sd memory card and put that into the R4. If your Dad wants to get into other uses for DS later on then would be the time to get something like an R4 (don't get an R4 though).

    So just go to the shop, buy the DS and brain training game and you are set :)

    Thats great, then all you need to do is buy a DS. Usually they come in bundles though, so you buy the DS for x amount with x number of games included. Its a little more expensive than buying just the DS but the games work out cheap ish so if you see a bundle with another game your Dad might like go for it.

    There are plenty of threads around about good titles. One he would probably like (if he likes puzzles) is Professor Layton and the Curious Village, can highly recommend it. There is a thread on it in this forum somewhere.

    That's illegal. Unless you live in the US.
