Some kind of spill outside the Custom House this morning?

Just a heads up, there seems to some kind of slick outside the Custom House. It’s stretching from the steps down to the traffic lights at Memorial Road and is about 3 feet out from the kerb. I fell off on my way into work this morning and after I got back up and on my bike my feet kept slipping off the peddles. Whatever was on the ground had gotton onto the soles of my runners. It didn’t seem like oil but it’s damn slippery.

So be careful out there

More than likely Diesel I'd say so lad, were you ok ?

Yeah, came off there too, left a chunk of my elbow on the quay (and damaged my boards jersey ). Very slushy whatever is was, it looked like someone had poured grease on the cycle track, probably diesel.

Yeah, I was grand thanks. It was one of those low speed wobbles when you know you’re going to hit the deck a second or two before it happens so you can kind of brace for it.
