Addictive stuff..

Discounting the usual i.e "drink" and "drugs" what things do you find addictive. Me? I opened a bag of pistacchio nuts awhile ago (hmm ill just have a few i said). God almighty i cannot stop..i have to finish the bag its ridiculous at this stage (rooting through the messy empty shells for one more unopened green salty fecker).

At least 5 times ive gone " right a handful more and thats it"...WTF?? The bag will be finished before i hit the hay...i cant stop!

Just after watching the Paul Gascoigne interview with Tubridy on sky+ there, and he was saying he was actually treated for 'red bull addiction', in with all the smack heads, alcoholics etc.

How additive is this stuff? I know a guy at work who just can't stop drinking it.

Btw Tubridy did a good job with the interview. I normally can't stand him, but credit where etc.

I'm the same with pistachio nuts, just can't stop eating them once I've started... but you're as well to finish the bag quickly... they start getting a bit soft a day or two after opening.

Lucky me I quit smoking and never started drinking often enough to find it addictive. Computer games though, can go 8-12 hours a day on my computer. Good computer games mind you! No World of Warcraft!

Friend of mine was on a 3-4 cans a day habit for about a year before trying to quit.
Once she quit she was not able to sleep.
She would sleep for about 1 or 2 hours and wake up, it would take her about an hour to get back to sleep only to wake up again a couple of hours later.
She finally just gave up and started drinking them again.
Sleeps like a baby again.

spending ages on pointless rebuttals on internet forums purely to wind people up.

Pear Bulmers. can't get enough of it and it doesn't seem to give me hangovers like it's appley sibling does for some reason.

it used to be pints of Vodka & Redbull, I could drink many many pints of it and never had any problems sleeping, although the caffeine did seem to block the effects of the alcohol, so when I woke up and the redbull had worn off the vodka would just be kicking in in full force and I'd still be half cut.

funny thing is though that having just one of them would keep me awake all night, but a big feed of them would leave me sleeping like a baby.
