Am taking my girlfriend to Paris for 5 days in June, 8-12th, we want to stay in or around Disneyland for the last 2 nights and in Paris itself for the first two, anyone got any advice for the hotels in Paris? looking for something not too expensive but no idea what area to stay in

Kyriad, Kyriad, Kyriad. They have city centre locations, one in the Disneyland area(with free shuttle to Disney) and one on the RER route at Torcy.

I have stayed in Kyriads which(in my opinion) are built on the same idea as Travelodge with a bit of "je ne sais quoi"

Linky not working for me right now.

I have also stayed in the Hotel Sante Fe which is a Disney hotel in the area. Its the cheapest of the Disney hotels but if you dont like Children then.........................best avoided, Disney is probably best avoided as well in that case :D

Interestingly, myself and the Boyf are going to Paris the week after you, and are planning on doing the same- disney for two days and the city for the other two. Have been to paris a few times myself before, and are on a budget, so I have booked a hotel in the 10th- Comfort Hotel Gare de l’Est‏- 272 for the four nights. We wont be spending much time in the hotel, so dont see the point in breaking the bank over it!!!

Hey, I did a similar trip last year, spent my first two days exploring the city and the last two in disneyland, I didn't switch hotels though! I stayed in this hotel http://www.hoteldelaportedoree.com/ which was right beside a metro which can take you into the city and also one that is two stops away from the train that takes you to disneyland. Since there's no real centre in Paris we thought the best idea was to get somewhere kind of in the middle of the two so we weren't too far away from either of them. It also seemed to be on the closer side of the city to Charles de Gaulle airport which was handy for getting a taxi! Was a really nice hotel with pretty reasonable prices, I'm a student like! Would def recommend it!

oh and as far as i remember train tickets to disney were around €12 on weekdays and €6 on weekends for students!

oh and also we got our disneyland tickets in the Virgin on the Champs eleese which saved us queuing up in disneyland!
