Hello all, I'm looking for a roof rack for my 98 Mazda 323 to hold the surf board.

I'm totally ignorant when it comes to roof racks so I don't know about compatability. Do all cars have individual racks or even every model?

I figure I'll search around a few breakers yards, but what exactly am I looking for? Thanks.

Try Ebay. They come up quite often on it. Think Thanes ones do the trick.

I'd go for a Thule roof rack. Every car is specific. The universal racks normally damage your car. The good thing about the thule ones is that you can get an attachment that makes surfboards easier to carry. You'd pick it up in halfords

Thanes! Correct I meant Thule :D

I'd stick with eBay. I was looking for one for my 323 they were going for about 30 bills. Halfords charge over 100. Sold the car before I bought the rack :D

Yeah, I was wondering because Thane yielded no results.
Looking at some of the Thule one's on eBay but none with the board attachment, but I could probably do without the adapter.
