SKY MOVING HOUSE - GETTING NEW SYSTEM - QUESTIONS

    Hi Guys,

I have a situation. A friend of mine has being with SKY for about 13 years and has a pre-historic sky box which is registered to him in his OLD ADDRESS.

He has moved house almost 3 years ago but never changed his address with SKY.

What he wants to do is get a new box without paying full price.

Is it as simple as disconnecting his account, and reconnecting at his new address (10 miles away).

    What are the pitfalls ?

    R

Tell him to cancel his account with Sky, then ring back up & order Sky to his new address.

I've done this to get the latest equipment twice plus you may get a really good deal.

Actually tell him to order first then when his installation has been agreed just tell him to cancel the older one. If he aint on a land-line he'll have to pay the guts of €35 to have the card activated before install.

Other than that - should be plain sailing.
