after another favour!! need to get this done, so anyone else recommend a supplier for stone mulch, would be larger than gravel, and any of you building buffs out there recommend what thickness we should use to cover - 2 inches? its like pebbles or stone which wouldnt be small enough to get in car tyress!!

i guess the quarries are the best bet, casey in gorey or hudson concrete also. maybe the hardware shops know of suppliers also? golden pages?

How did you get on with your driveway gravel ? I quite like the gold coloured gravel/stone like glenview do but imagine it would work out costing quite a bit of money. Possibly 20 tonnes if 3 inch depth were required.

What can you get stuff for if you were buying such a large amount ?

    50mm would the absolute minimum.

    75mm would be fine.
