Anyone any experience with getting the diesel remapped?

Have my eye on a few cars, and over 3 years the Accord works out at being the cheapest - and continues being so from then onwards due to its low consumption - although the 9-3 1.9 TID comes very close.

Plenty of lads on a Civic forum I frequent have had their 2.2 i-CTDI's remapped to 180+ BHP without any problems. Its the same engine as in the Accord so it should work just as well.

The Accord is a much better car than the 9-3 to begin with. Engine wise, while the Fiat engine in the Saab is excellent, it's a little long in the tooth now, and has been replaced in the Fiat world, so the Honda will be a more refined engine. Both engines will be reliable, but in every other way the Honda is a better car.
