Asking a randomer out!

I'm about to finish college in the next few weeks and have been single for just over a year now. My last two relationships have been through college and I'm beginning to worry about my chances in the real world as I have pretty much no experience approaching women.

A really close girl friend of mine in college told me I'm good looking, very likeable but I need confidence when approaching women. I agree totally with the last bit and am trying to work on it.

Now I'm looking for opinions on approaching random people and asking them out. There's a girl working in a music store not so far from me who I've been tempted to ask out recently but again haven't had the confidence to do so thus far.

I guess I'm just looking to hear peoples opinion on me approaching her, how would you feel in her shoe's being approached by a random bloke? And how should i go about it if I ever do get the bottle to ask her?

Well, I once asked a guy out who worked in the plant shop next door to the supermarket I worked in. He wasn't there when I went in so embarrassed I bought a fern. Was two mins down the road and said 'feck it... I went in to ask him out, so I will' turned around went back in and left a note with the lady who was on & asked her ot give it to the guy. She was all excited. He texted me that evening, we went to teh cinema & coffee afterwards. Turned out we'd feck all in common, bad date! lol.

BUT the point is, you lose nothing by asking. When you're in buying something just ask her, or even slip her a note if there's lots of ppl in the queue. Say that you've always noticed her and if she might be interested in a date - here's your number.
