In your opinion.......what is the best business to start in a recession?
Obviously, key factors would be low overheads and big profits. Does this exist anymore? Can it still be done in the current climate?

One with a well thought out plan and realistic sales targets on determined cost basis. In which case there are opportunities in many sectors.

There are still many customers out there, and lack of customers is not the main reason for business failure!

Any service based industry costs aint too much to get started and no need for massive capital investment. For example something a brother of a friend of mine did lately, himself and three others set up a website for A Grade Tutors supplying grinds for students. They advertise that all tutors have grade As in the subject they are teaching and seem to be doing pretty well. All they are doing is connecting markets and cutting a bit of for their trouble and the service they provide clients. Anything along that line is always a winner plenty of oppertunitys still there. ;)

Any chance you can pick a few holes in some contracts and agreements I have. :)

Seriously though, can you elaborate on that one for me?
