If you've not already got the Orange Box, it's only a tenner this weekend on Steam.

Games included in the Orange Box are:

Half-Life 2
- HL2 Episode 1
- HL2 Episode 2
- HL2 Lost Coast
Portal
Team Fortress 2

Well worth it for Portal alone.

Although a lot of the stuff on steam isnt the best of deals they do bring out some good ones.

Great deal, but how large will the download be?? I'd be eaten alive if our connection is throttled for a week or two in my house...

Also, does it have to be downloaded through Steam or can I get it through simple HTML etc? I could use a college network, but that only allows port 80 and one or two others.

Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: Seems like college networks are out. But any ideas on how big the download is???

If you know anybody with orange box on dvd, you can install using their disc, and then use your licence.

Would like to know size of download, and delivery method too - my router chokes on bittorrent traffic.

Its a direct download, not p2p.
For Tf2 alone disk space required is 6.3gigs.. but download would be smaller than that due to file compression..

The retail version came on two DVD's and the whole thing when installed takes up 15 or so gigs.

Unfortunately, to cut a long story short, I was waiting on Steam to get back to me to have my account reopened after my username/password didn't work and I didn't hear from them until today:(

So no €10 steam for me. And I was planning on getting it in a month anyway...
