Can anyone suggest a very good 2 head coffee machine that would be suitable for about 100 coffees a day. Any tips on what to look out for, and pricing would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    The Minstrel

i wouldn't recommend buying your own.

if you use that much coffee give java republic a call and they will supply you with a machine for free as long as you keep buying their beans, which as you may or may not know are the best around AND it works out about the same price as buying bewleys beans and they're shiite, which i should know cos we're stuck with bewleys for another 4 months until we're due another PO for coffee and I can finally get JR in the office like everyone wanted in the first place.

if for some reason you have something against JR and are mad enough to want a different brand of coffee, just about any supplier of beans will do you the same deal of a free loan of a machine for as long as you buy their beans.

i liked JR so much that I actually got a dual espresso/filter machine for myself and a bean grinder and bought the JR munkey beans to have at home. you really can't beat it. :)

go to the JR website here: http://www.javarepublic.com/iopen24/ and click on the coffee@work button near the bottom and there is contact info there to speak to a very nice lady who will look after you.

DISCLAIMER: no, i don't work for them, i was just really impressed with how well they treated me when i enquired about getting their coffee in, the lady even dropped round several bags of free samples to me and everything when i enquired about getting it in the office, she really couldn't do enough, even though she knew that our PO for coffee wasn't due for months.

free loan of machine = omgwtf @ cost of coffee. I laughed out loud when I heard how much my company pays for their coffee. 2nd hand cafe quality espresso machines abound on ebay. You'd probably have to head over to the UK to pick up, but that wouldn't bother me (personally).

i don't have the figures to hand, but i have them at work so I'll post the details on monday, but they were very competitive imho, and considering how good their coffee is compared to the crap we get from bewleys, everyone was more than up for it, particuarly as they look after servicing of the machine etc.
