Need some opinions from the ladies out there.

Is there something to be read into a girl making a personalised chocolate cake for a male friend?

They are just friends, for years. So do ye think this is just being a great friend or a sign of more than just being a good buddy?

im a girl adn i love baking i'll use any excuse to start cooking! i prefer to say "im thinking about you" with homemade goods rather than shop bought stuff, its more personal, but thats all it is, i make brownies for anyone who asks so I'm guessing its totally innocent!does she like baking in general? i also use it to impress like in front of boyf's mates and family :P

However if he's interested in her why doesn't he just ask her! I can't understand why there are so many threads about 'what to do' etc. JUST ASK!

Need more info - when you say personalised did she write a message on it? Do they hang out a lot? Does she ahve a bf does he has a gf?

There might be nothing in it. To be honest it really depends on what the girl is like. If she never ever bakes and did this then perhaps. If she is very thoughtful and likes to make things then maybe not.
I guess it would be good to know if she has dont this for any other friends

I'm not so sure he is interested, just wondering if it is not platonic, because she don't usually bake and it had his name on it and little other things!

I have three very close male friends who I'd do things like that for, well not baking, but say I saw something in the shop when I was in town that made me think of them or I'd know they'd like I might buy it etc, but it's purely because they're my friends and I love them, as friends. Their girlfriends don't like me much though.
