    Hi folks,

Ill be doing the rock duathlon on the road bike I have on Sunday. The seat post "lays back" about 3cm, but I have rotated the seat post 180degrees so that it lays forward, meaning the saddle will be closer to the handle bars. Im trying to mimic tri bike geometry with a steeper seat post angle. Will I be expected to see any real benefit? I dont seem to be any faster than when the seatpost is in the normal orientation.

    Cheer. :)

All I have is a photo of the bike in the standard form. See attached. Would be interested to hear if other folks has seen improvements with similar ideas.

Providing the bike is a good fit, just moved your saddle forward.

I have, but with the seat post rotated it pushes things forward by about another 5cms approx.
