    Hi there,

I've just brought in a 1999(nov) registered VVTLi Celica. Was imported to UK in 2005.

It has TRD factory fitted kit, powerflow straight through exhaust and aftermarket 18" wheels.

I've tried the ROS website and can only get a quote for a VVTi which is €560 for a 2000.

I also spoke to a guy who runs a garage and he said that the VRT on the day as they charge for extras, surely they cant add on extras for the likes of Air con if it came standard from factory??

Can anyone shed some light on this??

** COMPLETELY WRONG FORUM, COULD A MOD MOVE AND EDIT THIS PLEASE CHEERS **

Anything that's not part of the Irish spec is considered extra. A lot of UK cars have higher specs then ours and when people VRT them they get done. But for a 10 year old car I don't think they are too worried, AFAIK the depricate extras over 10 years at ~10% per year.

Cheers for that, well I have a VVTi aswell, 2000, and checked it out, and VRT on that is €560, so if its in or around that I'l be happy.

generally, they'll only vrt extras on stuff under 5 years. Something around 2000, they prob wont even inspect it so i'd say that figure is close enough to what you'll be paying
