What jobs would you never consider doing?

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on this and I don't want this to turn into a 'we're in a recession, you're lucky to have a job' thread.

For me it would probably be anything to do with the emergency services. I'd hate to be a garda, ambulance driver, nurse, doc etc mainly because they have to deal with the very worst things that happen in society. The stuff they must see would make it hard to get a decent nights sleep.

Which jobs would you never consider doing?

    bus driver.

I see them as having the responsibility of circa 100 people on terrible Dublin roads and with the majority of road users being **** drivers I'd never take that much pressure

Yup, emergency services would be a career I'd avoid. Outbound sales would be another, along with being a chugger.

But the job security is great. It doesn't matter how much of a mess you make out of it your job will always be safe.

Cold-calling - I dread the thought of being on the dole (coming up soon unless I find a job shortly after my contract finishes) but at least I can comfort myself that it's better than being a cold-caller... *shudder*

It's not as bad as you might think. I've had alot of crap jobs, but I think working in ASDA tops the list. I'd NEVER work on the fish counter.

Chugger, door to door "marketing" (It's sales you fcuking muppets, call it accordingly), working at extreme hights, that's anything over the gutter of a 2 story house.

Bar tending is pretty easy work, it's very fun too. Some of the bars in dublin are a joke, the amount of staff they have. Go down the country and see the differance. They still manage. Bar person down the country > Bar person in the city, by a about a mile.

Working as a chambermaid, at sixteen, in a hotel full of homeless people, beside Euston Station in London. The wages were room () and board, and 60 pounds.

    /hugs daughter closer.

A worse job than that? Nurse. Not a hope I'd do it.

I'd never work in a coal-mine if it was the last job left. A late uncle of mine did that job, two miles down and out under an estuary bed - no fucking way!
