    Hi,

Bit strange this one but had a space issue on Apple Mail and did some tidying up. Now all emails are missing from the Sent Folder....everyone claims they did not delete them!!

There is nothing in Trash but wondering is there a way to recover the emails from this folder ?

Need to try to get them back.

    Its Mail 1.3.11 on OS X 10.3.9.

    Thanks
    -gm

if they're gone from Mail, they still may be on your email server.

what email service are you using?

check in ~/Library/Mail/ see if the mails are there then import them back into the application.

Is it possible you have Mail set to delete sent mail after so many days/weeks? Check your account in Mail's preferences.

You should upgrade to Leopard (or wait for 10.6) and use Time Machine, it's invaluable for when stuff like this happens.

What am I looking for in this folder ?

There is a folder called Mailboxes and also one for each of the email accounts. Both contain .mbox files.

Also, how do I import ?

    thanks,

Checked with our provider and emails sent from the Apple MAIL app are not stored on their servers. Thanks
