Now that the first round is out of the way and were coming into the business end of the tournament (3 and 4 session matches), who do you think will win?

    Please give reasons where possible...

(Names in order of world ranking, Poll will close before the semi-finals)

I'm still going for Higgins, he's nowhere near top form but when it's needed you can see him improving 110%.

Hard to look past Ronnie I think, if he's on form...

I only watch the snooker at this time of year, these days, so I'll go for a convincing winner in '05 Shaun Murphy.

i reckon if selby in form towards the quarters he will win or if higgins is on song there wont be anyone to stop him these two could potentially meet in the semi's,i expect selby to prevail this time though

Well after today Ding can be removed from the reckoning and before too long tomorrow unless there's a major shock Nigel Bond will have the same fate.

Either Ronnie or Mark Allen (9-7) and Murphy or Fu (7-1) will get the chop tomorrow too.

Have you voted? There's only one vote for John at the mo, and that's me.

Going for Maguire, he's on great form, knocking in the centuries for fun and has been really putting the hours in on the practise table.
