    Hi All

Could anyone advise if the Diesel engine (1896cc 1.9cc) out of a Seat Ibiza will fit a VW car such as a Bora ?

The Ibiza engine has a lot of things with the vw marking so I assume they share parts but could one be used a direct replacement ?

    Thanks

Check the engine code on both engines. If they are the same then you're onto a winner. If they are not, you will need to ascertain what the differences are (if any) and determine what it will take to adapt the engine.

Remember VAG had two different 1.9 diesel engines too, the SDi and the TDi.

And even at that, there are many variations on the same designs with different mounting points, electrical connections, etc, etc.
