    Don't really think that's fair, it's just Pop.

    No I think it's very fair.
    Apart from 'crazy in love' (which let's admit all us production nerds drool over that drum break sound in), everything else I have heard has been pseudo soul-divaesque wailing nonsense.

    All imo of course:pac::pac::pac:

    Here's an old one:

    My idol Ian Brown and The Stone Roses. Their last gig at Reading in '96 with only half the band left. This is painful. Check out especially 2:20 when he hits the crescendo of I am the Resurrection. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

    He's still a legend though!

    Some of you may have seen that disgraceful Jessica Simpson performance; seems that even the biggest names in the game aren't immune to the autotune bug

    Beyonce get's all the plaudits but it's her adopted brother who is the real talent .

    always thought that Beyonce was hugely over rated. Seeing that wan fawing all over her at the X Factor last year was embarrassing. That latest song that she has is terrible.

    not sure if its true but i heard that near the end the rest of the stone roses would learn all the songs in a different keys out of his range to intentionally humiliate ian brown at a gig?

    btw i think beyonce has a great voice and if her blurb is to be believed is also a great songwriter, and along with the likes of JT, Timbaland, Kanye etc seriously raised the bar for pop music over the last ten years, i mean seriously, think back to the mid 90s, it was horrible.

    I actually like his music, but only when it has been produced in a controlled environment, he should'nt be allowed on stage... ...check out 2:40!

    He was always one of the worst live singers around though :) I have seen the Roses live several times from unsigned band all the way to Spike island and while argueable the coolest guy around at the time, he also had no problem murdering some of their best tunes :)

    Destiny's Child were on of those bands that I would never admit to liking in Public, but actually got got a few spins on the old iPod.

    That and the fact that being from a country of pasty women and being thus being a sucker for honey-brown skin, Beyonce is pretty much what a team of genticists would have cooked up had I asked them to build me a perfect woman. So on that score alone Ill let her pass.

    most excellent link.
    Beyonce definitely on the list for receiving the RAT bar. Great chassis too. Never knew she was a singer as well.
