    Hi,

I am about to upgrade someones pc that has a Vadim LiquoCool Antarctic D (CPU+VGA+Chipset) cooling system.

    Similar to this one: http://www.vadim.co.uk/LiquoCool+Antarctic+TX+(CPU%2BChipset%2B2VGA)

Can someone please tell me how to remove the coolent as i have never worked with a water cooled system before and did not realize that this was going to be part of the job.

    Thanks in advance.

generally the way to do it is to remove all the blocks from the mainboard and remove anything from the case that might get affected by the coolant for eg psu, mainboard. Then find the lowest part of the watercooling setup and place a bowl or something to drain the fluid into under that. Then remove one of the tubes at the lowest part and let it drain.

This is not advised as pumps should not run dry, but if you switch the pump on and off for a second or two when drain the system you'll get all the fluid out.

There will always be liquid in the rads as they are way harder to bleed. It takes time so don't rush it cause liquid will get caught in the blocks and could come out all over the hard drives or something.

Are you looking for someone to do this for you?
