    Guys,
Quick q. I got 3 11 Mth Old Bulls Squeezed 6 days ago. I was told that it was fine to let these into a field with heifers as
no could do no damage. One of the heifers was calling yesterday eve and I noticed one of the squeezed bulls mounting her.
I am now worried that he has her on calf..
    What are yer thoughts???

I'd say she's safe enough. Even castrated bulls will follow cows if they are in heat - especially at that young age. Keep an eye for her in 3 weeks time to be sure she is in heat again. If she isn't, you might have to get an injection from your vet to knock the calf from her.

i had bulls the same age last year and got them sqeezed,
the vet said to keep them away from heifers for a few weeks as the semen they have at the time of castration is still viable and it takes a few weeks for them to "spin out" as the vet put it.
i put a few heifers that weren't far off slaughter in with them to speed up the process
anyway i'd seperate them asap and i'd inject the heifers en masse as well and chalk it down to experience
    sorry for the bad news!

i think you have to wait a few weeks before giving them the jab so the possible pregnancy can be interupted...
