    Its alright, better than nothing but this is one of the most important matches involving a Britsh boxer this year. Really should be live.

    Is it a case where the fee for the tv companies is too high and the only way to do it would be ppv? and since froch wouldnt be seen as ppv the fight is kind of in nomansland?

    It's the case that not enough British people know who Carl Froch is and like him enough to stay up till 4am watching him, for them to pay for live coverage.

    If this fight was in Britain and getting big news coverage they'd have bought it live, or if it was due to start at 1am or before(the main fight that is, and still in America) they'd have probably got it, but they just can't attract many viewers at that hour.

    They'll probably get decent viewing figures for the earlier ITV4 timeslot, and very very good figures for the later ITV1 timeslot.

    If Froch wins though and they get good figures for both those timeslots you can bet they won't miss out again in the future. Froch is slowly building a name in Britain and if he beats Taylor that'll help him tremendously.
