For anyone interested, this bout is available
    online at: http://www.omnisport.tv/page/Home/0,,12637,00.html.

It's available in Ireland. The list of countries it is not available
online in is staggering. I am glad Ireland isn't one of them.

I shall be getting it. It's only 10-12 Euro, which isn't bad!

i would imagine the places u cant get it online, a network has picked it up and thats why its not available. No other logical reason to restrict where its for sale.

Im probably going to get it to because its a great fight and i want to support it, but i think the promoter really let Carl down on this one. It should be on tv so everyone can watch it. This is the biggest night of his career and sadly the number of folks that will get to see it in britan will be very small. Personally i dont mind paying a few euro for it, but the amount of people who will do it are few and far between.

They are asking people to 1) stay up to all hours in the morning, 2) sit in front of their computer all night 3) pay for the privilege of doing so.
Regardless of whether i'm willing to do that, the vast majority of people will not be. It has essentially made the fight exclusive to the hardcore boxing fans.

Froch's last fight apparently did great viewing figures (on the same night as de la hoya pacquaio no less), and it was a fight of the year candidate to. They couldn't have asked anything more of him. One of the networks should have backed him for this one, and done whatever it took to get the fight on tv. I feel very disappointed for Carl that it worked out like this.

Anyway, Do u know i you get the full night of fights or just the main event on the website walshy?

I purchased it today and I was told that I will be able to
view the link 30 mins before it's scheduled to 'air.'
Now, it's advertised to begin/air at 0200 hrs; so whether or
not that is straight to the fight, I don't know.

Such a disgrace, I know its on itv the next day but how can it be that Froch is not on live defending his title against Jermain Taylor. Was it too expensive for the TV companies to pick up?

i hate watching fights or soccer matches etc on the net-dont trust the streams to be clear and to stau on and certainly would not pay ppv to see froch v taylor-good fight but by paying for this you are telling these companys that you will pay for any semi decent fight, its this **** thats put boxing out of the mainstream.
