has anyone bought games games from china ,"clever me "bought some that worked for awhile but now they dont work

I actually bought a copy of Hotel Dusk off eBay a year or so ago, it was sent from China. Paid about twenty euro for it all in, and after a couple of months it stopped working. Any progress in the game was lost when the DS was powered off. So I took a closer look at the box, and the "instructions" which came with it. It transpired that the "Instruction booklet" was actually just a review swiped off CNET.com and printed to look like a booklet. I'd never bothered to look at it before, but once I did I contacted the seller on eBay. Cue a prompt delete of their account, never to be seen again. And this was a seller with a few thousand of a rating like, so they'd been selling conterfeits for a while.

I imagine if it's a conterfeit game then there's nothing you can do if it stops working on ye.

dont buy games from ebay, problem solved.

I think with the pirate carts they just use a v.cheap battery in them, so the battery will run out after a relatively short period of time and you lose you're saves. Happened me with a pirate cart of Pokemon Emerald on the GBA
