    Ouch!

Of all the DLC's for this game that won't be coming the PS3's way this one will be the one that will hurt PS3 owners the most I think.

I'm not going to ask if it'll ever be released on the PS3 because I know it won't be. So what's the point of my post? Well, I guess there isn't any, I'm just venting my frustration!

A mate reckons they'll do a game of the year edition with them all, i'm hoping they do.

That would be cool, but I'm not buying the game again. Would it be impossible to put these DLC packs on the PSN?

Fallout 3 DLC packs, by Bethesda, Exclusive to Windows platforms, but not confirmed if Exclusive forever

Id imagine it will be released for the PS3 all 3 DLC's in one pack?, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I wouldn't hold my breath on the PS3 getting the DLC. The first two (Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt) are coming out on Disk late May, but only for 360 and PC. If there is to be a PS3 release of the DLC it will be unlikely to come out any earlier than Christmas.

On the other hand those of us who got it for PC have to buy the DLC with fecking "microsoft Points". And they don't come in multiples of 800...

It'll be a while but I'd say we will get the DLC eventually.

400,000 copies of GTA4 sold in the UK alone (for the ps3).

EDIT: Whoops a GTA example but you get the point.

I know people say the PS3 is harder for Bestheda to code for but surely the engine etc is pretty much done from the main game?

Anyway, I do like the look of Broken Steel.

If they did release it I'd trade in my current fallout copy and buy the most recent one just for the level 30 cap and the new ending, I don't much care about the pitt or operation anchorage.

I hate to be negative, but I wouldn't be surprised if the DLCs were never released for the PS3.

It may eventually come to PS3 but only with a lot of hammering, and it won't/can't come in the form of DLC only in hard disk as they have an exclusivity thing with Microsoft on DLC.
Also Bethesda clearly couldnt care about the PS3 version otherwise htey would have either made them available by now or never have signed that deal wtih microsoft,
way to ruin the videogame industry!

Thats kind of hard to prove isn't it? You'd have to show me the contract but it is more likely it is a timed exclusive. Its not really a matter of not caring if they were paid to have exclusive on the 360. I am sure it would be a fairly cost-effective exercise once the timed deal runs out.

I mean Bioshock was a 360 exclusive, Eternal Sonata, MGS2 on the PS2 etc but they all change after a while.

My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that these games companies have deals with microsoft to not release down-loadable content. But they can release it as add-on content like on a disc.

Yep, they probably re-release in game of the year pack. MS really are throwing their weight around this generation. Though I'm glad most exclusives are timed like that tales of vesperia game. A lot of pissed of Japanese gamers who bought 360s just for that to find out it's being released on ps3 with a lot more content

Apologies to all for resurrecting this thread but...

I've never been so happy (gaming wise) to be so wrong! 2 new DLCs for the game as a whole, all five being released for the PS3, and all five being sold in a game-of-the-year-edition by October. I'm defo rebuying come Autumn!

    Tra-la-laaaa! :D

Already have it on the PC (but not the DLC) so I'm planning on getting the GOTY edition on the PS3 when it's out. The MS Points system is complete BS for a PC release, so I'll vote with my wallet.

Of course that means I'll have to start from scratch, but a third play-through won't be a chore...

I'm just so glad the DLC is coming to PS3. Didn't really want to finish it on the 360, and I can probabaly share the cost of the DLC with a few mates.
