Really looking forward to the Higgins vs Holt match @ 2.30.

We should see how Higgins is set for the tourney and there's always a bit of entertainment when Michael Holt is playing (Esp. when things aren't exactly going his way). :D

Shaun Murphy is in dire trouble in the morning match live now, he's missing easy balls and Andrew is playing solidly enough, they're just back from the break and its 7-6 to Higginson.

Very good opening 4 frames in the Higgins vs Holt match, 3-1 to Holt.

Higgins took the first with an immac. 80+, he missed one in the second to let Holt in, Holt got a ton in the third and the fourth was a tactical battle. Good stuff to watch.

Davis is out :(, he lost the both of the two frames today, it finished 10-2. He must be gutted, if he is to come back next year he'll have to play one qualifieing match provided he stays in the top 32 (I think he's safe).

Pity about Davis but you'd wonder even if he does qualify he'd need to get Joe Perry or someone to win his first match, he should finish up next year on a milestone 30 years at the crucible.

Higgins took the 7th to make it 4-3 to Holt, both playing well. I've put a fiver on Ding at 18-1 and Marco Fu at 22-1 for a bit of interest, I don't think O'Sullivan is resilient enough to go all the way this year. Feel free to quote me if Ronnie does indeed do the business.

Murphy will be a tough one for Fu but I think Ding will hammer Hendry, ahhhh I love this time of year!

What a good session of snooker in the Hig v Holt match and it even had some good banter towards the end.

Full credit to john, especially in the last two frames taking it from 3-1 & 4-2 down to 5-4 up overnight.

He played very poorly in the premier league too.:( However in some of the other tourneys he's been playing some good stuff thats why his ranking has stayed consistant and he is pretty safe in the top 32 for next season.
