Buying my first mtb online

    Hi folks,

Would it be a good idea to buy my first Mtb (and accessories) online to save a few quid? Being a complete noob, I wouldn't know how to setup the bike properly once it get's delivered. i'm handy with putting the seatpost, brakes and wheels on, but thinking more of proper setup for seat and handlebar height and whatever else is adjustable.

Would bike shops in Dublin be willing to setup the bike for a small fee?

    Thanks.

How are you going to choose the bike? Are you sure it's going to fit you and that you'll be happy with the ride?

I've asked around and also read some reviews. There's some good 2008 bikes on sale at the moment on those two sites.

I'd be buying something not too expensive just to see if I like cycling enough to turn it into a serious hobby, then perhaps upgrade to a better bike later when I know a bit more.
