Zakynthos, Greece - anyone been?

    Hi there,

    The OH and i are thinking of heading to Zakynthos for a weeks hols in September and was wondering if anyone else has been? We're looking for a relaxed week in the sun in a quiet enough area (without lager lout types hanging around!)

    yeah ive been there, was in 06

    we (myself and the gf) stayed in tsilivi, http://www.tsilivi.com/

    it was lovely i thought. very quiet, no troubles at all. i heard that laganas and a lot of the others are very rough, with groups of 18-24 year olds puking on the street every night. mates went there and said ti was ****e, hated it

    stayed there for two weeks, was a great holiday. there is stuff to do during the day, sights to see, can go into main town on the bus etc

    id recommend it

    Was there a good few years ago,we stayed in Argassi and it was quiet and close to main town Zante.It is a realy beautiful Island with lots of sights seeing trips like Turtels,shipreck(very worth seeing)Blue Caves.Have a great holiday,I just adore Greece.
